The Underground is back from our lovely trip to California for the ACP Spring College Media Conference where we did everything the state had to offer, besides attending the conference. Rest assured, the beaches were long.

At the time of writing this note, we mark the 5-year anniversary of the COVID-19 lockdown. The Underground, as a serial basement dweller, actually longs for the days when laying in the dark for hours was acceptable and we only had to look at our classmates on Zoom, instead of smelling their B.O. in a muggy Old Main classroom.

SHINGLES HERE TO REPORT THAT CHAPPELL ROAN JUST RELEASED THE GIVER. Sorry for yelling, I just can’t hear after listening to the song on full blast. I must admit, I’ve Roan-ed too loud at the Chappell.

Shingles is here again, and currently wondering why Albert Hammond said that “It Never Rains in Southern California.” For the record, it’s rained on every one of these trips we’ve gone on. Maybe he should have said, “It Never Not Rains When The Griffin is in Southern California.”

The Underground is incredibly proud of Canisius’ new DEI initiative of scheduling spring break for March, giving the lady Griffs the opportunity to rest during Women’s History Month. Still, we beg them to consider furthering this effort next year by making anyone who isn’t a woman stay on campus and go to class.
