In Other News……


At least one all-white deer is currently calling Forest Lawn Cemetery home – right across the street. Its extremely rare coloring is caused by a complete lack of melanin pigment stemming from a recessive trait inherited by both parents, according to the National Deer Association.


Mr. Robert Klump is no longer at Canisius. There is more information on that in the opinion section. 


As of Sept. 12, presidential candidate Kamala Harris is leading the national polls by 1.6 %.  


Ms. Sarah Galasso, who was an associate professor of Digital Media Arts, is no longer working at Canisius. 


There will be a campus clean-up day on Sept. 14. at 10 a.m. in the quad. 


Afro-American Society will hold a Welcome Back BBQ on Sept. 19.  


Griff Weekend will be held from Sept. 27 to 29. 


The NPR reported that Donald Trump, in a social media post, has refused to debate Kamala Harris for a second time. 


The Canisius Zoological Society will be having a general body meeting on Sept. 16. 


The next Buffalo Bills football game will take place on Monday, Sept. 23 against the Jaguars. 


As reported in the editorial on May 10 by The Griffin, Professor Dan Higgins was denied tenure, and will be leaving the university at the end of the year. The Griffin collectively loves, supports, and thanks Higgins for everything.
