In Other News…

Elections for the Unity Club e-board took place on Thursday, April 18 at 7 p.m. 

On April 19, Global Horizons in collaboration with the Afro-American Society, and CASU held Global Griff Fest ‘24. 

Applications are open for the Delta Gamma Chapter of Tri Alpha Honor Society for first-generation college students  

On April 18, Canisius announced a GriffWeekend that will take place on Sept. 27-29. The event will combine the family and alumni weekend. Furthermore, alumni who graduated in the years ending in 4’s and 9’s will celebrate their class reunions. 

On April 19, Fusion Gaming, Anime Club, and Griffins After Dark held a Lasertron event from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. The event featured laser tag and axe throwing. 

Cresendonts will be having a spring concert titled “Bittersweet Escape” on April 27 at 7 p.m. in Montante Cultural Center 

Little Theatre is presenting “And The Winner Is” by Mitch Albom and directed by Eileen Dugan on April 25, and 27th. 

On April 22, the ALANA Student Center is presenting “Women’s Summit” with speaker Mary Owusu, the assistant professor of marketing and information systems. 

The HEOP is holding club elections until April 23. Interested applications can apply by using the QR code on their flier at the bottom of Old Main. 

A special edition of The Griffin will be published during the last week of the semester…or will it?
