This Saturday, Canisius University will host their 2025 Fall Open House. On Nov. 8, potential students, families and the community are invited to spend time on campus. There will be campus tours and an information session.

For students with their bachelor’s, there is an information session about Canisius’ graduate programs also being held on Nov. 8. There are resources for potential applicants who need help with their application or any part of the process. The goal of having open houses is for staff and students to get acquainted in a relaxed atmosphere, rather than hustling during the first week of classes. There will be multiple campus tours that any registered attendee can join.

The undergraduate open house day will begin at 9 a.m. with an accepted students breakfast in the Montante Cultural Center, leading into the welcome ceremony and academic sessions. Pre-med/pre-health and pre-law will have their own information sessions in Science Hall classrooms. There will be rooms talking about financial aid and admission, as mentioned above, but there are other ways to receive information outside of the open house. Contact Canisius and schedule an appointment where staff can discuss your questions and concerns on your own time.

Beginning at 11:30 a.m., the academic fair in Science Hall Commons will round out the day with posters and staff members from academic programs to answer questions. At the same time the experience fair will be occurring in the Science Hall Commons. Tours are starting at 11:30 a.m. as well and can also be scheduled on one’s own time if need be.
