On Saturday, April 18, at 7 p.m., Canisius University’s a capella group, the CrescenDON’Ts will hold their annual spring concert performance in Montante. Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. According to GriffConnect, “this year's theme is ‘Red Carpet,’ which features songs from some of your favorite movies and TV shows!” The set list will include many fun pop culture references for audience members to spot throughout the show.

The CrescenDON'Ts' upcoming concert is especially significant as five of the 17 members are graduating this year and get to sing a song of their choice to close out their time with the CrescenDON’Ts. Carlie Porter, a graduating CrescenDON’Ts member, stated, “I am looking forward to the upcoming CrescenDON’Ts concert this Saturday as a perfect end to my time at Canisius. I will never forget the unmatched spirit of camaraderie in the group and the invaluable friendships I’ve made. As I look back on these past four years, I am reminded that it was not just my education that made it meaningful; it was the people. I am grateful for everyone in the group who has made being part of this concert incredibly special.”

On the impact of the CrescenDON’Ts’ seniors, sophomore Katie Dusza, who also serves as the club’s director of public relations, emphasized that “all of our members, especially our seniors, have put so much love and passion into the club, which reflects greatly in everyone’s performance and talent.” The group has been preparing since January, and the seniors are eagerly looking forward to their special end to their time in college and can’t wait to perform for everyone.
