On April 20, Canisius University announced that the school was creating a new partnership focused on a streamlined entry into Boston College’s Master of Health Administration (MHA) program. According to the university, “Canisius students across disciplines can begin working toward the MHA during their senior year through Boston College’s Woods College of Advancing Studies. They may transfer up to six Canisius graduate credits that apply to the master’s degree and receive a 10 percent tuition discount as part of the partnership.” The master’s program is fully online with both full and part-time options available. Boston College is one of the nation’s leading colleges, ranking No. 36 on U.S. News and World Report’s list of Best National Universities.
Regarding the Jesuit link between both Canisius and Boston College, Dr. David Goodman, dean of the Woods College of Advancing Studies, says “We are thrilled to partner with Canisius University—an institution distinguished by its strong Jesuit tradition and commitment to academic excellence—to create a seamless pathway for students to continue their Jesuit education as they advance into Boston College’s Master of Healthcare Administration program. At a time of profound transformation and opportunity in healthcare, this collaboration will prepare students to lead with integrity and compassion, grounded in a deep commitment to the common good, social justice and ethical care for all.” More information on the new partnership can be found on Canisius University’s website.
