On Nov. 9, an email was sent out to the Canisius community in regards to the temporary shutdown of campus dining service True Burger.

The location faced a plumbing issue, and the email stated that “Boost order and food for True Burger can be picked up in the dining hall from 7:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.”

The Griffin reached out to Assistant Vice President of Student Life Matthew Mullville to briefly explain what had happened. Mullville stated via email, “The problem with the plumbing in True Burger is [that] the City of Buffalo sewer keeps getting plugged. It’s really not a Canisius problem.”

Mullville went on to say that the process to remedy this issue will come from working with the City of Buffalo itself.

Currently, Director of Facilities Management Joe Snodgross is working on this updating story.
