Notes from Underground
The Underground was NOT pleased with being alerted that someone was knocking on their friends’ door at 10 p.m. for a recruitment. Do not mess with the Underground, we have foam throwing stars and a baseball arm.
Can it stop raining on Wednesdays? The club baseball team would like to practice during their normal time, but Mother Nature has decided against them being good this year.
The Underground would like to take a moment of silence for all the victims of 9/11, a day the Underground will never forget.
In regards to the jokes the Underground has made about 9/11… who are we kidding, the Underground loves those jokes.
The joy of birding class that was stuck in Forest Lawn last Wednesday got out with no damage done to them or the property. The five-way intersection did confuse many people, but everyone made it back to campus in somewhat perfect health, mentally and physically.
Sports layout is still waiting on a response from Hitman, who he picked a fight with last week and did not get anything back in return.
Pepaw Williams is pondering if there is a particular reason that P.W. is included on every. single. today@Canisius. P.W. is not getting up from his rocking chair.
Last week, the Underground was called a different name by her professor. Today, I was two minutes late and when I walked in, the professor said my actual name and got it right, but I thought it would be funny to say the different name he called me last week. The professor realized he called me the right name, and I was pulling his leg, and he said “no damnit.” The class erupted in laughter, she was quite pleased with herself.
The ghoul has created the “ultimate notes from the underground,” which is string with a mask as a basket. There is so much going on that EIC Nowel just doesn’t question it anymore.
Word of advice to all fantasy football players: do not trade Justin Jefferson for Calvin Ridley, Jakobi Meyers and Alvin Kamara. Someone had to learn a hard lesson this week.
