Love is in the Air

To Remy and Anne Marie, 

They say that "X" marks the spot where two lives have crossed each other for the right reasons, and looking at both of you two today, it is clear that no writer's hand could've scripted such a bond this pure. You've spent years weaving a heart-shaped knot through the flow of time, showing that love is a choice made by people, whether mutant or not. 

You both came to the X-Men with secrets and "theft" in your veins: one stealing hearts and treasures, and one stealing memories and powers. Today, you're not stealing anything. You are given everything. Today, choosing each other, you've allowed the other one to "steal" the other's very possibility from your lives, leaving only the long, winding road ahead that you'll both have to walk together from this moment on. 

From the very first beginning of a spark to this grand event on Krakoa, you both have shown us that even those destined to be together have to fight till the very end for their "happily ever after". As you head on towards a honeymoon that might just take you across the stars, remember that your lights are brightest when both are shared.
