There will be a Freedom Mic Event on Jan. 27 at 5:30 p.m. by the Blue and Gold Cafe (formerly the Smoothie Lab). The event will feature an open mic centered around current events. Diversity Chair Leyla Akil told The Griffin, “[Students] can scan the QR code on our flyers to submit their performance for screening. We want to ensure the event remains a safe space for all.” This event follows the inauguration of Donald Trump and Martin Luther King Jr. Day. 


The Buffalo Bills will play the Kansas City Chiefs on Jan. 26 at 6:30 p.m.


Applications for the DiGamma Honor Society are now open until Feb. 13 at 5 p.m. Applications can be found in an email sent on Thursday, Jan. 23. 


Submissions for The Quadrangle are open from Jan. 23 to Feb. 1. The submission form can be found on their Instagram page.
