The United Student Association (USA) is hosting a Student State of the University on Friday, Nov. 7 at 2:30 p.m. in Grupp. President Stoute will be addressing the students present and answering questions. The QR code to the event on GriffConnect for registration and calendar purposes is below.

The Counseling Center will be hosting Stress Less Week from Monday, Nov. 3 through Friday, Nov. 7. They will have chair massages, game night, visits with Riley the therapy dog, nature walks and more. Various events featured during this week are available for registration and viewing on GriffConnect.


Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, also known as food stamps, are set to be suspended on Saturday, Nov. 1 due to the ongoing government shutdown. An email from Tuesday, Oct. 28 from Petey’s Pantry details the services it offers students, including those who may be impacted by the suspension of SNAP benefits. The new Byte technology vending machine located by the Blue and Gold Cafe has just opened up. Students can buy drinks, to-go snacks, sandwiches, soup and salads.
