Acrobatics and Tumbling schedule inaugural season

The Canisius acrobatics and tumbling team announced its first-ever season schedule this week. The Griffs will compete in six events as part of their NCATA slate.

The team will open the season at home against Buffalo State before hitting the road to face Wheeling and West Liberty in early March. Canisius will then host fellow Division I NCATA member Quinnipiac at the KAC on March 15 before closing out the season with a return meet against Buffalo State and a final event against Gannon.

Buffalo-born and newly minted head coach Mel Goulding will have the chance to face her former team, Buffalo State, twice in her first season as a Division I coach as she looks to build on the success she had leading Glenville State’s Division II program.
