The Griffs’ varsity four boat took fifth place in their Petite Final with a time of 9:09.729. The United States Merchant Marine Academy, D’Youville, Stony Brook, and Binghamton placed ahead of Canisius.
“We made another good step in the right direction today as a program,” head coach Kerri Brace said. “Our team is continuing to grow and learn how to race each week. We learned a lot about ourselves and our capabilities today and look forward to carrying that over into this week's training."
Canisius rowing is set to race at the West Side Rowing Club next Sunday.
