Dear Griffin readers,

My name is Dominic Vivolo, and I am happy to announce the return of everyone’s favorite new column in everyone’s favorite newspaper, paid for by our tuition dollars: Oh Honey!

This column was created because, as someone who has been here for far too long (I chose a 4+1 for some unknown reason), I have learned a lot about how life works, and I also noticed that a lot of people have problems that have answers that always start with me going “Oh, honey…” and continuing until their problem is solved. If you have any questions this semester, I can answer them. Academic woes? Yeah, I’ve been there before, honey. Relationship problems? I have watched every rom–com on the planet, honey, trust me: been there, done THAT.

Now that all of you are definitely on the edge of your seats while reading this, I know you are all asking the same questions, so I am going to give my first round of advice in the first column entry of this year!

FAQs for Dom:

  • I’m nervous that I'm going to be made fun of for asking for advice. Is this anonymous?

    • First, honey, do not ever be ashamed of asking for advice, and embrace feeling stupid sometimes; second, yes, these are anonymous to your fellow readers.

  • Will you answer anything?

    • I have a massive ego, but I have limits. If you ask me a question I genuinely cannot bring myself to answer, I will unfortunately leave it to a higher power (my mother).

  • How many questions will you answer per session?

    • As much as I feel like I would answer every question in the world if I had time, studying for the CPA is scary, and I’m trying to get PAID.

  • Finally, and most importantly, how do I submit my questions?

That’s all I have for now. I look forward to reading your submissions soon! While you’re here, read the rest of this paper as well! Now I go back to my hole, where I will be studying for ONE exam that will determine whether I will be successful in my career… yay.
