Shingles here, currently wondering since when has East Rutherford [N*w J*rs*y] been colonized by New York? Shingles thinks that N*w J*rs*y J*ts has a nice ring to it, and they can stop trying to be a New York team. Besides, the last time there were jets in New York it did not land well.


This edition of Notes from the Underground is sponsored by the bookstore, whose 75% off-changing-vendors-sale is giving us a perfect reason to cancel our weekly section meetings. If this edition of The Griffin is a flop, it’s because we were too busy buying shot glasses, fuzzy socks and oversized Canisius Dad shirts (for ourselves, of course). On the other hand, school spirit is at its highest!


Every day can be a football night, but Thursdays, these are special. Every Thursday night when football is playing I put on my toe socks and try not to get too crazy over that ball. 


The quiet floor of the library, which now is in the basement, seems to be having some issues adjusting to its new role. The bathroom is the main culprit with its infuriating ringing coming from somewhere that will definitely not get fixed. 


The Underground learned a new word last week – carousing. And a certain EIC might be very guilty of this, if our sources are to be believed. 


This note is dedicated to our TV in the office that is frozen on a snapshot of a Taco Bell quesadilla being ripped apart. We didn’t wanna watch the game anyway, I guess. 


The Dippy and Dipshit Trio have been reunited this year, and it seems they are both playing hooky this printing night. While the honorary third member Ken may be struggling to layout their articles on pages 9 and 10, the rest of us are appreciative of being down our resident misogynists!
