Note from Underground
The Underground is VERY displeased with the third floor of Science Hall and those people. Your employees need to be treated better like actually paying them for blocking off time in their schedule even though they did not “work.” The Underground loves you very much, but don’t make us break up over this, please and thank you.
Peepaw Williams here, and telling you that well… if given the chance to wrangle hogs covered in mud during a rainstorm or babysit a class of middle schoolers… Peepaw recommends getting your rain coat ready. It’s not that the kids are particularly bad, but it is that hogs do have a more powerful possibility of listening.
Whoever cut the Underground’s fantasy update last week, count your days… we will not stop and it will not be cut.
Last two weeks recap for fantasy football: EIC Nowel is still undefeated (sorry Jase Jase May May, not sorry Ghouls). Jase Jase May May bounced back though as Nobody is still winless (with a loss last week to Karen Rodger’s, who went back to losing this week). The 2–2 teams faced each other and Features was victorious. Oh and then there’s News, who is also 3–2. He really does just copy Features. CoopDawg’s Harbingers of C… is 5–0 and won this week with 76 points. Managing Editor Dusza has decided that injuries are the way to win, except they are not. At least she has hockey…
Speaking of hockey, the first two weeks in fantasy hockey are completed and EIC Nowel is dominating as per usual. Well, Managing Editor Dusza might knock him down this week as they face after she has scored the most points in the first two weeks. The 25th Stanley Cup is on her way to the 26th while the goalie–ran team will look to stop it this week (wow, what a great week in fantasy hockey). News and Features both rather continue football than this hockey business while Cale Makar might need some help as the Colorado Avalanche could use some driving lessons. See y’all in Week 3!
One more time. The Underground does approve of “Caravan” by Van Morrison.
“La la la la la la la, I mean it’s a great song, it’s running laps in my mind. I can’t stop thinking about it. It is just so good,” said Cooper Hillman.
Cooper Hillman is somewhat of a genius.
Adam Kozman is somewhat of a philosopher.
Resident Assistant A.B. exposed her pelvis to the Griffin office this Thursday.
“I saw God, and he was angry” — Jase the Redeemer.
Who up in the Underground doinking they schnozz?
